Class Guidelines

Objective: To teach all students how to control and calm the mind, bring optimal health and vitality to the body, and recognize the divine essence within us.

​

​

Amita Jain is a certified yoga instructor and Ayurvedic doctor with over 20 years of teaching experience.  She trained under world renowned yoga Guru, Dr H.R. NagendraJi, at the first and only accredited Yoga University, SVYASA Yoga Institute, in Bangalore, India. Her classes focus on traditional practice and preserving the authenticity of spiritual teachings of Yoga.

How to Join a Class:
 
  • Click Join A Class in the top menu bar

  • Proceed with booking and checkout. 

  • You will receive an email confirmation and link to activate.  (If you do not get it please contact us.)

 

NOTE:

  • We suggest taking the Surya Namaskar Class (online) before attending Hatha All Levels in order to learn the Sun Salutations correctly.

  • Beginners can start with Gentle Yoga or Level 1.

  • The Pranayama class is highly beneficial for all yoga students and will compliment any asana class.

  • The Level II class is for advanced students who have demonstrated excellence in the basic asanas and have attended All Levels for at least one year.  Instructor approval required.  Interested students should sign up online.

How to Attend Class (in person and online):

​

  • Bring yoga mat and water bottle. 

  • Yoga blanket, yoga strap, and cushion are optional but helpful to have with you.

  • Wear comfortable, stretchy clothing in which you can freely move.  Avoid loose tops. 

  • Have fairly empty stomach.

  • Avoid coffee 4 hours prior to yoga class.  Caffeine will affect your ability to deeply relax.

  • Avoid perfume, lotions and other strong scents if coming in person.

  • Students will be asked to remove socks, watches and jewelry and turn off cell phones.

  • Consult with your physician if you have any medical conditions.  (Inform your instructor and note in the registration any health issues.)

  • To know and experience the benefits of yoga, a daily practice at home is important.

In-Person Class Information:

Park on driveway when possible.  Enter the studio from the garage side stairwell going down to the lower level.

  • Check the schedule for studio location and times.

  • Ensure that you have signed up for a membership or registered to join a class. Space is limited.

  • Arrive a few minutes early at the studio to secure a spot.  (Premium Members have reserved spots.)

  • Bring yoga mat, water bottle, and any yoga props you may have. Wear comfortable yoga clothes and tie hair back. 

  • Come to class on a fairly empty stomach.

  • Classes are recorded and will be available to view if you miss a class.

  • To confirm a class is on, text Ramdas at 240-426-2524, and request to join our WhatsApp group.

About Your Booking:

​

  • Classes are ongoing with auto monthly payments.  Stay enrolled for as long as you want, cancel anytime.

  • In person classes fill up quickly.  If a class is full, send us an email to be placed on the waiting list.  You'll be notified when a spot opens.

  • You can try one or more classes before enrolling.  Email us for details.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellation policy:  Cancel your monthly enrollment anytime by sending us an email.

​

There are no refunds on class fees however feel free to trial as many classes as you'd like.
